Another of the little trattorias on Windsor’s Via Italia, this is the domain of Toni and Biagio Spadafora, who named it for Biagio’s former home in Calabria. It serves the familiar menu of veals and pastas in a cozy one-room setting. The cooking style is simple and robust, typified by veal Calabrisella, with the veal in a sauce of capers, mushrooms and white wine. A warm and welcoming little spot that is a true mom and pop establishment, it has the down-to-earth appeal that typifies Erie Street East. ~ Molly Abraham (The Detroit News)
